The Arch

AN ATTEMPT TO LIVE THROUGH A TONGUE-LINED TUNNEL FILLED WITH RED CLOUDS

& CONCRETE FORESTS

A wet collision against the wall!
O the splattering of kisses…
We trade tongues by the bricks.
In the city romance is on concrete,
And the streetlight is our moon.
In between the skinny streets
And dirty sidewalks our footsteps
Leave a trace of happiness…
I hold your hand, rough
Skin stretched over the bones and
Blood of love; in the background
I hear an orchestra of sirens,
Honking and shouts…
In front of me I watch the
Beautiful movie of your eyes, curtained
By damp, black shadows.
Our soundlessness overcomes
The neon noise, and
Inside I sense
Your pulse flickering.
